Remarks Majority of individuals entering rivers to breed have spent 2 years in the sea and are 60-90 cm long (Ref. 89463). Baltic populations do not leave the area (Ref. 59043). HELCOM: endangered; considered a high priority species (Ref. 83294). Also Ref. 6114.
