Remark: Data obtained from a sample of 5 youthful of C. nigrescens (of a total of 39 units) with 18 months of growth (from fingerlings of 6 cm of total length) in a earth fresh water pool, with the alive food provision (Oreochromis sp. and and Macrobrachium sp.), which showed to a good growth and the feasibility of its fresh water culture.
