Remark: I realised a study about this species during my Master degree (?). The fish you can see on the picture belong to the leuciscus species but it is not the common dace but the rostratum dace. As you kno, there are many forms of dace in France and in Europe but it seems that nobody could say if these forms are the same species or not. If you kno more about this, please send me an EMail. During my sutdied, I noticed a lot of case of parasitism (Tracheliastes polycolpus).
