Intertidal, actively shuttling back and forth between rock pools and air (Ref. 31184). Feeds on invertebrates (Ref. 31184), also, crabs; with acute vision to detect prey in the air (Ref. 94105). Breathes air (Ref. 31184) and can remain out of water for 1.5-4 hours if kept moist (Ref. 51276).
