| Comments | Misidentification in Greece. Konsuloff & Drenski (1943) claimed to have observed the presence of the species in the N. Aegean Sea (Kavala). However, recent research on its distribution has proven that it is absent in the Mediterranean, but found off the Atlantic coast from Marocco northward to South-western England and Ireland. |
